1 yr anniversary

Greetings - Dec 12 2009 is my first year lock anniversary! It's been a great journey but I still want a ponytail (LOL) No doubt I must be patient. My hair is much thicker and quite healthy. By far still the best hair decision I have ever made. I'm constantly getting compliments from strangers! Lock on!!!!!!!! Peace

It's been 6 months

Greetings! It has been six months and still loving it. I haven't locked yet but the freedom is still fabulous!!! I being a little impatient about the whole ponytail thing. That could very well be a year away. My hair is growing but it seems to be growing horizontally LOL.

It has been 3 months

Greetings to all!

It has been three months and the locs are holding up well. I have washed my hair several times and have had trouble only at the nape of my neck. My consultant turned me on to distilled water mix with a couple of drops of olive oil to mist my hair for softness. It has worked well. It does not cause a build up or slippage. I'm excited about that!!! I don't know when I will accept the fact of wash and wear!!

Sister Locks on the high seas

Greetings!

As you all predicted sisterlocks rock on vacation. Had a great time and I'm still amazed how carefree this hairstyle has been.

I'm headed on a 7 day cruise and I don't have any concerns about my hair surviving the journey!
It's hard to believe that I don't have to pack anything special for my hair. Is this one of the free at last free at last moments we have been waiting for? ( LOL)
